Mission Statement


The mission of TxETA shall be to support, promote, and expand educational theatre at all levels by providing the following:


  • Quality educational opportunities
  • A network for resources, support, and expansion
  • An advocacy base
  • A forum for establishing standards, programs, and projects in order to celebrate the importance of the theatre in the human experience
  • Principles, training, and practices that are committed to culturally responsive teaching and the promotion of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
