Mission Statement


The mission of TxETA shall be to support, promote, and expand educational theatre at all levels by providing the following:



  1. Quality educational opportunities;
  2. A network for resources, support, and expansion;
  3. An advocacy base;
  4. A forum for establishing standards, programs, and projects in order to celebrate the importance of the theatre in the human experience;
  5. Principles, training and practices that are committed to culturally responsive teaching and the promotion of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
