Job Description: The assistant director position for the 6A Midland Legacy High School. The home campus would be the 9th grade campus (Legacy Freshmen) with travel to the Senior campus for Productions Classes. This position would be in charge of teaching/directing Theater Arts 1 at the 9th grade campus, JV Productions Class at the Senior Campus, and assisting in the direction of Varsity Productions. This position would need to travel between campuses during the day. This program boasts advancing One Act Play groups, National Qualifying Thespians, plenty of campus and district support, and an active Parent Booster Club. As per the 24-25 compensation manual, the salary scale starts at $61,200 for zero years and the position includes an $8,000 stipend. Travel pay given for the travel between campuses. Additionally, Midland ISD is set to open the soon to be constructed Legacy High School in Fall 2028. This would move the high school campus to a 9-12 campus eliminating the travel requirements.
