Job Description: Sheldon ISD, a fast-growth district located in northeast Houston, is looking immediately for a full-time Theatre Teacher to finish the 2024-2025 school year (and continue on thereafter!) at Null Middle School, a 3C middle school that feeds 6A C.E. King High School. The Null MS Theatre Program is a well-supported, popular, and theatrically-successful program that won UIL One Act Play last year. We are looking for engaging, energetic, organized, collaborative, and pedagogically-strong theatre educators who can provide student-centered instruction and make a positive impact in students' lives. Preferred applicant experience would include a track record of success with both the acting/directing/writing side and technical theatre sides of drama education; at UIL One Act Play direction and/or other forms of production; in recruiting and retention; and at diverse, Title I middle school campuses; but all levels of theatre/teaching experience will be considered.
